Time Machine & Formal Issue
Scrub through the full history of a safety case, diff any fault against any past moment, restore any save point — and freeze formally issued versions as permanent records of what was approved.
Scrub Through History
Every edit already lives in SAFOPS's hash-chained audit trail. Time Machine turns that trail into a timeline you can move through: reconstruct the state of the whole project — or a single fault sequence — at any date, and see exactly what an assessor saw on the day they signed.
Diff Any Fault Against Any Point in Time
Pick a fault, pick a date, and see what is different: a barrier reclassified, a frequency revised, evidence added or expired, a requirement that used to be met. "What changed since the last periodic review?" is answered in seconds, not with a week of document archaeology.
Restore Any Save Point, Not Just the Last One
Roll back to a specific earlier state — not an undo stack of the last few edits, but any recorded point in the project's history — with the restore itself recorded in the trail, so a rollback is never invisible.
Formal Issue: A Permanent Record of What Was Approved
Sign-off fields show the current, still-editable state of the case. A Formal Issue freezes the report as a formally issued point in time: a permanent snapshot of exactly what was approved and when, for submission, regulator inspection, or a later inquiry. Because the audit log is cryptographically anchored, every past entry remains independently verifiable.
