One Tool, See the Big Picture

Enterprise & Estate Rollup

A site running several facilities, a unit operating multiple platforms, a plant with a dozen processes — every case rolled into one live risk picture, with each keeping its own methodology.

One Risk Picture Across the Whole Site

Separate cases — casting, machining, packaging; reactor, fuel handling, waste; the platforms on a single unit — link as children of a parent site or facility. SAFOPS then rolls them up live: residual risk summed by exposure group and scored against the site’s own tolerability limits, a projected profile modelling every open deficiency as closed, and the fault sequences genuinely driving site risk ranked across every case at once. Facility Gaps rolls up everything across the site that still needs attention, so effort goes where the risk is rather than wherever the last review happened to look.

Shared Barriers Resolved Once, Not Counted Three Times

A safety measure claimed by three different processes is still one measure. SAFOPS resolves it once at facility level instead of triple-counting its benefit, and shows every case that depends on it — so degrading it, or taking it out of service, is a decision made against the full picture rather than one document’s view of it.

A Site Total That Owns Its Own Caveats

The Facility Report exports the whole picture to Word, PDF or HTML with every child case’s figures traceable back to their source. Where a case cannot be included — no workbook yet, a build that failed, or access the reader does not hold — it is named as excluded rather than quietly dropped, because a site-wide total that silently understates risk is worse than no total at all.

Every Case Keeps Its Own Methodology

Rolling up never merges anything. A single SAFOPS installation can hold a completely separate project per facility or programme — each with its own exposure groups, its own risk matrix, its own fault sequences — with zero cross-contamination between them. Switching projects safely archives the current one first, so nothing is ever silently overwritten.

Start From a Real Template

Every new project picks up one of SAFOPS’s seven built-in industry templates (or a blank custom matrix) as its starting point — a genuine, reviewable workbook, not a wizard’s best guess — so a new facility is productive from day one, not week three.

One Login, Every Programme

A consultancy running safety assessments across several clients, or an operator managing several plants, sees them all from the same tool — collaborative workflows and role-based access built in, without paying for or maintaining a separate deployment per site.

Safety Case Tools for Every High-Consequence Industry

Structured safety case development looks different in a reactor hall than it does on an airframe — SAFOPS's seven built-in industry templates start you from the methodology your regulator already expects.

Nuclear

Bowtie diagram software built for nuclear safety cases — high integrity systems and safety critical elements tracked against ONR's expectations for a live, structured safety case, not a static PDF re-issued once a year.

Defence

Systems assurance for both conventional platforms and autonomous systems assurance for uncrewed and AI-enabled capability, with the traceable evidence chain a MOD safety case demands.

Rail

Signalling upgrades and rolling stock programmes each get their own fault sequence model, built for ORR-facing structured safety case development.

Aerospace

Systems assurance across airframe, avionics, and ground support — safety critical elements mapped from initiating event to consequence in one interactive diagram.

Oil & Gas

Major accident hazard management and safety critical elements for COMAH-regulated sites, with barrier visualisation that makes a HAZOP or bowtie review legible to the whole room, not just the author.

Cyber Risk

Threat scenarios scored across Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability, with the same bowtie visualisation tracing every attack path from threat source to consequence, sitting alongside your OT safety cases rather than in a separate tool.
